A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

The Treasured Keepsake of a T-shirt Quilt

An awesome aspect of my work; needleonfull.com, is to see customers being delighted by their finished quilt. This week, I diligently worked on, and finished a quilt for Patrick Sweeney, a graduating senior at Arundel High School (this coming week). He and his mom, Jenn, came by early this morning to pick up Patrick's quilt that was comprised of 15 hockey jerseys (sweaters in hockey parlance) and 5 lacrosse singlets that became a very large quilt indeed. Those hockey sweaters started out at 20" squares!

When Patrick heads North to play hockey in a colder climate than Maryland this fall, he'll be all set to snuggle underneath this 30 lb. quilt! (Okay, not quite 30 lbs, but it is a heavy one for sure!).

BSoleille! The bright side of very happy NeedleOnFull customers!

Terri
