Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Shiny New Store!

Down the road in Bowie, Maryland, a new shiny store has opened - Harris Teeter! We used to shop in one in North Carolina in 2004-2005; and there was one in Bethany Beach for a spell, and we liked the feel and "spirit" of the store. Although we did not go on opening day, we happened to stop by three days after the grand opening. The freshness of everything, most importantly the food, was a welcome sight. I think this is a revitalization of Bowie, with Harris Teeter the anchor, and lots of other stores in the same plaza that have opened, or will be opening very soon. We bought a couple things that, and promise to go back and shop!
