A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

What a Difference 12 Days Make!

That is, post surgery from Ryan's tongue tumor removal on May 27th, and a good report from his doc (surgeon) today! Staples were removed from his left arm and neck, the docs were pleased with his healing tongue (reconstruction), and he has graduated to eat "soft foods". But what does a young 21 year old want to get back after major surgery? It's the green light to drive once again, and that was, thankfully, a resounding "yes"!

There is still quite a bit of healing to go, but Ryan is certainly heading in the right direction on many fronts, and we could not be happier for him (prayers working!). He is also working diligently on his nutritional needs (with lots of encouragement from his mama/dad), and looking forward to fun summer days ahead!

BSoleille!
