A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

And the Years Keep Rolling by...

The days may seem slow (at times, you know, lazy summer days), but as the Harry Chapin song goes, "the years keep rolling by!" Another swim season is upon us and today is my first time back at the pool! It is also Ryan's first day back to work (at the pool as a gate guard), and we could not be more thrilled for him to "get back some of his summer". He is four weeks post surgery today and his healing has been quite remarkable. We are so thankful for everything associated with his recovery, especially all the wonderful thoughts and prayers to get to this point exactly! Even the staff at the pool welcomed him back with balloons attached to his chair and some decorations in his "office".

BSoleille! The bright side of welcoming summer one and all (only three days late!)
