A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Footnote to Yesterday's Post

All day today I thought I needed to add a footnote to yesterday's post or an addendum. So here it goes:

Several years ago I believe I received a re-gifted Christmas present with the Elvis Christmas CD. The person who gave it to me either 1) did not care for Elvis; 2) thought they were pulling a fast one on me; and 3) certainly never listened to it because they would have never given it up (IMO). Basically, I have the "last laugh" and very thankful that I do!

In addition to Elvis though, I feel compelled to include my other favorites too. This list may include your favorites as well: Carpenter's Double Set (traditional carols and contemporary Christmas music); Amy Grant's Christmas; Kenny G Holiday music (clarinet instrumental); George Winston's Windam Hill "December" (piano solos) and the classic Bing Crosby's "Merry Christmas"!

BSoleille! The bright side of listening to Holiday music for the next three weeks.
