A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Not About the Commercials for Super Bowl 51

The 51st Super Bowl was as entertaining as their million dollar commercials. And Lady Gaga is a real show woman with her singing, dancing and outrageous costumes. What was not to like on the whole spectacle? The actual game can be looked on two ways, a terrific comeback by the Patriots, or a downfall with the many penalties against the Falcons that beat them all down, especially with a healthy lead throughout the first three quarters. Nevertheless, the competition remained fierce and one team had to win eventually...in overtime...a first for any Super Bowl. And what about breaking records? We saw that too, with Tom Brady winning five Super Bowl rings and MVP! Love him or not love him, he throws a mean pass and continued to compete even when the chips were down for his team early on. This one will go down as one of the greats for the history books in professional sports.

BSoleille! The bright side of ; Wow, what a show in NFL history in the making...
