A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

There is More Good in the World

It is "Rocktober", and it has started with a storm and the proverbial "bang" out in Oregon. Sad news on the 45th shooting this year with 10 students dead and many others injured. When is the madness going to cease?  I find this all so profoundly sad, but then realize there is way more good happening each and every minute around the globe; it is just what the media feels like it has to cover for "today's story"!  And the unpredictability of Hurricane Joaquin has got the better part of the East Coast on edge, so what a way to begin October. I made a pot of comfort food - chili.
