Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

How! How! For Cody Douglas

Yesterday was a great day for Ryan, but another awesome young man, Cody Douglas, received the Special Love’s Special People Award for 2019! We are so happy for Cody and this How! How! honor. A survivor of childhood cancer, he knows the ropes of the entire journey, and  loves to give back by volunteering at Camp Fantastic and other events throughout the year.

I am so thankful that the younger generations are reaching out, taking leadership roles, and volunteering where they see the need in our world. With all the negative press out there lately, isn’t it refreshing that there are so many really making a difference and doing good? I think so!
