A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Walker, Merlin, Luna and Willow

My son and I are sharing dog sitting duty for four retired racing miniature Italian greyhounds. They are truly something. I am trying to figure out how they onced raced because they are so frail and skittish. Two have no teeth, and their limbs could break in two very easily, and two have very cute dispositions and like when we come around (they probably figured out we come to feed them). They sleep until 3:00 pm every day, and are all under the covers when we come in because they chill and are cold most of the time. They liked it yesterday afternoon when it was sunny and 75 degrees for an hour!

BSoleille!  The bright side of hanging with four Italian greyhounds for the week!
