A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Is It Pretty Anymore?

First full day of Spring, and thoughts of sunshine and warmer temperatures dance in my head. Mother Nature has her own mind, however, and decided to drop six inches of heavy white fluff all over the East Coast. Who can complain, though, when Boston and the New England states are getting hammered lately with blizzards every week? Of course the branches on the trees are fully covered (though I'm concerned that super heavy snow will break all the boughs and cause some serious damage), and we did have some total white out moments today! Yikes!

It's tough when the whole state shuts down, schools are closed and no one is happy any longer with a "snow day." But we all know warmer days will be here again; they just can't come soon enough.

BSoleille!
