A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

"Political Circus" You Say?

When the political climate is charged (as it is now and through modern times during big election years) quilters get busy with their thoughts and panache of quilt making. My friend and fellow quilter, Misty Cole, has taken this years presidential election, a political circus, if you will, and weaved her magic into this stunning quilt! She has posted this quilt through Facebook and other social media sites, so when she showed it in "real life" for show and tell at our guild meeting this evening, I most definitely took a photo and was granted permission to blog about this fabulous quilt!

For more information on Misty Cole, please drop by her website and take a look around at what she's been up to; she is amazing!

BSoleille!
