A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Corn Hole Anyone?

I am thankful that our good friend Tom G. made an extra set of corn hole boards that we scooped up pronto. Tom even put a coat of primer on them! They are rugged and will see many years of good old fashioned fun - bean bag toss, that is.

My son then knew of a woman who painted several years worth of murals and sets for the middle school plays, so I looked up Ginger Hills Facebook page and contacted and contracted her to paint our boards. Art by Ginger is the site and she does a great job with quick turn around time. My kids each chose one and the photo shows the final product!

BSoleille! The bright side of a non-electronic game!

FANTASTIC! Wow -- those are really great. Probably the best looking painting I've seen. Glad I could make the basic boards for you guys! I'm going to put this pic up at my work....
