Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A World in One Country

A world in one country is South Africa, or at least the travel guides say so, and I am thankful to embark on a trip there this coming Wednesday.  I am referring to it as a college "road" trip with three former cross country & track teammates from Bowling Green State University that will include trains, planes and automobiles!  I am super excited to visit the African Continent with adventures of a lifetime and hopefully take some good photos of the land, wildlife and its people. 

One of our travel companions, Helen, lives in Johannesburg and put together an outstanding itinerary.  I only peeked at it once though because I want to be awed and surprised at every turn of the two week trip. 

My goal is to continue this blog while there, and hopefully with some great photos to boot, but only when we are in wifi areas (which maybe limited at times). I will do my best to record the daily happenings!
