How are your mornings lately? Sunshine? Rain? I hope not snow! Here in Maryland, we've had fog every morning for the past week. A bit strange? I don't know, but it doesn't burn off for a few hours and everything is quite eerie.
I ran out to take the photo below - no filter! Never needed one (I don't usually use them unless it needs a little brightness).
