Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

No Frills Retreat 

I’m thankful to be in Maryland and on the West River with my quilting buddies for the long weekend "No Frills" quilt retreat. No frills means no extras, just sewing and working on our individual projects. No swaps, no mystery, but plenty of ideas and a round robin of swapping stories. 

Friday night is our usual potluck dinner and it was super delicious with everyone contributing something. Our sweet, salty and healthy table is also in good form for the next few days. Time to strap myself in my chair, head down and sew sew sew!
