Waiting for Spring

I think the whole country is in "waiting for spring" mode, and a quick hiking trip with "The Best Daughter" this morning in the George Washington National Forest in Virginia is no exception. Cloudy skies and cool temps, coupled with grey mountain vistas and no new growth, made way for enjoying the quiet undertones of a glorious burst of spring that must be just around the corner.
