US Government- Good or Bad?

I really do not want to get politcal on this blog, but I'm really sad about our Congress right now and the stalemate between the House and Senate on the budget and health care issues.  Our government shutting down is not a good thing, and I certainly hope cooler heads will prevail to solve the issues at hand and "serve the people" of this country as best they can.  Despite the goings on in Washington, DC today, though, the day was beautiful and a late afternoon soccer game was just what I needed to get some afternoon exercise!
