Quilting Inspiration

My quilt guild's program tonight included hosting Cheryl Lynch - fiber artist, author, designer and teacher. She gave a wonderful presentation on what inspires her, and in turn, hoped to inspire us as well. Circles, squiggly lines, wrought iron, tiles and flooring are just a smidgen of what inspires Cheryl. Her quilts are beautiful and what I liked best was the fact she incorporates all types of fabric, not just cotton. I loved the use of silks plus interesting embellishments for her one-of-a-kind creation.
