It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

What Heat?

I wonder what is in my very black dog, Loo-C-Loo's brain as she lays in the direct sunlight on a very hot day? Notice the shade from the trees just a little further back, but I guess not for her today. We know she likes to wait and catch unsuspecting birds, mice and chipmunks, but everything is hiding in the cooler parts today. Even the flowers and other backyard fauna seems to be wilting today.

Thankful that this crazy dog must realize she can and will escape to a much cooler house when done "tanning"!
